We are always looking at new ways to make The Essex Lottery even better for our players and supporters. We wanted to let you know about an exciting change to our prize structure, happening from Saturday 17 August 2019. The great news is, there will be even more chances to win cash prizes every week from £25!

We are changing the way you can win.

Currently, we have raffle winners each week with the amount won based on the number of tickets sold. With the new odds based structure, you win prizes based on the number of matches you make to the winning combination. There will be a 1:56 chance to win a prize and the prizes are paid no matter how many tickets are sold.

The draw will still work in the same way. Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked. Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the JACKPOT! 

Great news - good causes still receive 60% of all ticket sales.

Your nominated good cause will still receive 50p from each £1 ticket brought via their page on the lottery.

A further 10p will still continue to fund local good causes and initiatives via the central fund. Overall, that's more than double going to good causes compared to the National Lottery! The only difference will be more chances for players to win each week.

You don't need to do anything.

All tickets for draws from Saturday 17 August will automatically be transferred across to the new prize structure. Winners will continue to be notified by email and winnings paid into their nominated account.
