About Us:

Carers FIRST is a much loved and valued charity supporting people across Essex who look after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty, or addiction cannot manage without their support. We provide information, advice, guidance, emotional support, training and activities, giving unpaid carers an opportunity to have a break from their caring role and to help them to get the support they need. We also need your help so we can continue to offer our service! Funding will be used to celebrate, value and recognise the role of our carers by offering them day trips, social activities, meals out and luxury health and well-being sessions. For many caring is a rewarding and positive experience for others without the right help and support it can feel overwhelming.
